For individual users, we offer our core application, PrivateAccess™. This is a free service that gives registered users the ability to decide who may view their personal health information, as well as who may contact them for general or specific study or clinical trial participation opportunities. Until a PrivateAccess™ user allows a researcher to contact him or her – by granting “private access” rights – we keep all personally identifiable information hidden. So the previously competing interests of privacy and access are reconciled to everyone’s benefit.

Researchers use RecruitSource®, which operates as a dynamic search engine for our database of people who are interested in participating in clinical trials and research studies. RecruitSource® also functions as a contact management system for researchers, who can register, post their studies on patient advocacy group sites, and search when they’re properly identified and authenticated.

An essential element to patient recruitment for clinical research is the trust between patient advocacy groups, their community members and followers. TrialsFinder® helps these advocacy groups identify and publish the studies that are most relevant to people with the diseases and conditions that they serve.
